Our Fraser River fishing charters depart from the beautiful town of Maple Ridge, BC.

The Fraser River, stretching majestically across British Columbia, holds the title of the province’s longest river and ranks as the eleventh longest in Canada. This mighty river originates in the stunning Rocky Mountains and makes its way to the Strait of Georgia in Vancouver, offering breathtaking landscapes along its course.

The Fraser River is a thriving habitat for the remarkable white sturgeon, a fish species that holds the record as the longest-lived freshwater fish in North America. A typical white sturgeon is a massive creature, often averaging around 200lbs, making it a prized catch for anglers.

Unfortunately, the population of sturgeon fish in the lower Fraser Valley has dwindled to a mere fraction of its historic numbers, highlighting the importance of conservation efforts to protect and restore this iconic species.
